Loan Amount: This is the amount of money you will borrow from us. It's usually expressed as a percentage of the total purchase price and is calculated by dividing the loan amount by your mortgage amount. For example, if you take out a $200,000 loan on a $300,000 property, your loan-to-value ratio (LTV) would be 0.67 ($200K/$300K).

Interest Rate: This is what it costs you to borrow money from your lender over time. The interest rate is usually expressed as an annual percentage rate (APR), but there are other ways to express it as well. If you have questions about how this might affect your monthly payments, talk to our team!

Origination Fee: This fee covers administrative expenses such as processing fees and credit report fees so that you don't have to pay those costs yourself when applying for your loan. Origination fees can range from 1% to 5% of the total value of your mortgage loan.
